Course Aim:
To provide delegates with the knowledge and practical skills which will enable them to use a Utility Winch, be competent in pre-use checks, set up and operation during the lifting activity.

- Winch familiarisation;
- Hazards and Risk assessments for using a Winch;
- Pres start checks;
- Lifting/Towing;

- Earthing the Winch
Course information:
The course will involve elements of classroom and practical tuition. Emphasis being on awareness of site working and procedures for using a Utility Winch under the safe supervision of a qualified instructor. Delegates are continually assessed throughout the course. This course is certified by CPD. The course is given over 1 day. Individual training or group (up to 4 delegates).
